Heike Weber

A doodling genius artist. How anyone can have this much patience and be so good lines is crazy. It's giving me loads of ideas.

Brooks Shane Salzwedel

Recently found this artist who paints and draws between layers of resin to make these eerie and beautiful art. I would love to take this style and adapt it too a project.

New NQL background.

From Derek and Cathy's feedback they wanted the background to be more 3D and using Art Deco panels etc. I looked again at my moodboard and took the art deco window design and transferred it into panelling. I also looked at art deco furniture styles. The hardest part with the background was seeing what we needed to have from the story board and transfer it. So there are two parts too this background and a pan.

Finished Mafia character on the left and Zoe's finished presenter on the right. We sat next too each other in the studio whilst painting the characters up so that we had the same style for continuity.

Character design for 3rd year Alex Barnes

I was given a character design from Alex Barnes and was asked to make it more illustrative and more like a 10 yr old girl. I made a mood board on pinterest and he choose this :http://leaglem.deviantart.com/art/Dotdles-311546331
as what he wanted it too look like.

I had a day to do this.  I did a lot of sketching so that Alex could pick and choose what he liked. And this was my final.

Pre-production task

Me and Zoe were given the phrase "Cut to the chase" and "shopping channel" and an hour to come up with an idea and pitch it.

Interesting explanation of mine a zoe's journey taken from her blog (http://zoewakefield.blogspot.co.uk/)

"Initially we were at a loss and then it came to us like rain in a drought. (Artistic imagery there..) We decided it would be amusing to do a teleshopping channel dedicated to criminals/terrorists/all things bad. We could play heavily and amusingly on stereotypes, although we did tame ourselves a bit as we didn't want to insult anyone...

Turned out however that Derek and Kathy thought if anything we should be more outrageous and have some sort of climax, which i think will be really really fun to think over! It's a really fun idea that i have spent a large amount of time laughing over.

Here is our rough anamatic thus so far, a lot, and i mean a lot of work needs to be done but i think its got the bare bones of something that could be quite witty." - Zoe Wakefield

Funny in 15

I'm working in a group with Matteo Veglia and Harry Bayfield. I'm basically the role of production designer coming up with the story, storyboards and design. I'm also helping with the 2d animation.

This is my first shot:
